U88 Online Casino
Review

U88 is a ringgit casino and sportsbook whose own lobby, u88games.com, says it began operating in 2020. This review used to sell it as a budget brand: a MYR 10 minimum deposit, MYR 5 sports bets and cashback with no minimum loss. None of those figures appears on U88’s lobby, its official external sites or its promotion terms; the MYR 5 sports stake appears only on u-88.my, a U88-branded site the lobby does not list as official. According to U88’s own sites and promotion terms, re-read on 29 September 2026, the minimum deposit is MYR 20–50 depending on the payment method, the weekly 5% rescue bonus needs a net loss of at least MYR 10,000, and the top VIP gift, a Rolex, needs MYR 3,000,000 in deposits. What U88 does publish is written terms for each of its promotions. What it does not publish is a licence number or the name of the company behind it.

U88 Overview: Licence and Operator

This review used to call U88 “Curacao licensed”. No U88 page we could find says that. U88’s lobby footer shows a PAGCOR logo under a “License by” heading, with no licence number and no link, and u88gaming.com, one of the external sites U88 lists as official, says “U88 is licensed by PAGCOR”. Neither holds up:

• PAGCOR cannot license a site like this. The Philippines’ Republic Act No. 12312, the Anti-POGO Act of 2025, signed on 23 October 2025, cancelled offshore gaming licences and revoked PAGCOR’s power to issue them. PAGCOR’s own list of accredited gaming system administrators and registered brands and domain names, dated 17 September 2026, has no U88 brand or domain.
• No company is named. U88’s general terms refer only to “The Company”. They also still contain template leftovers: clause 9.3 sets the most a customer can win in one day at “xxx”, and clause 7.12 refers to “Indocash” instead of U88.
• Other registers. The Curaçao Gaming Authority’s online licence register (edition dated 21 September 2026, 665 entries) has no entry matching U88. That register lists companies, not brands or domains, so it cannot rule out a licence held under another name. Anjouan’s register, which does list domains, has no U88 domain among its 1,526 entries.

The other footer badges — BMM, iTech Labs and Gaming Laboratories International (testing labs), a GoDaddy “verified & secured” seal and a TST “payouts reviewed” badge — are images, not links to any certificate. Our licence and RNG glossary explains how to check a seal yourself.

Check the address, too. U88’s lobby names u88games.com as its official site and u88gaming.com, u88onlinecasino.com and u88net.com as its official external sites. Its older address, u88live.com, redirects to the lobby but resolves to MCMC’s block server on a Malaysian connection. Many other sites use the U88 name. One of them, u88live.net (reached from u88gaming.net), shares the image-hosting account of the casino doorway network we documented in August; on 29 September 2026 its sign-up button sent us to JM8, 12Joker (joker997.net) and 711kelab registration pages in eight tries, and never to U88.

Quick Facts

Welcome Bonus: Two Offers, Read the Tiers

The 118% up to MYR 388 at 20x that this review used to quote is not among U88’s current promotions. According to U88’s published terms, its lobby lists two welcome bonuses. Both are for a first deposit only, each can be redeemed once, and neither can be combined with another promotion:

• “Welcome Bonus up to RM800”: 100% up to MYR 800 on sports and slots at 12x turnover, 50% up to MYR 300 on live casino at 25x, or 150% up to MYR 300 on 918Kiss at 8x winover. Turnover counts the deposit plus the bonus, and withdrawals from the slots version are capped at MYR 10,000.
• “Welcome Bonus up to 368%”: 188% up to MYR 1,880 on slots (918Kiss excluded) at 32x, which must be claimed and completed first, then either 80% up to MYR 700 on sports at 20x or 100% up to MYR 800 on live casino at 30x. The headline’s 368% and MYR 3,380 add all three tiers together, but the terms let you take the slots tier plus only one of the other two.

U88’s own worked example for the second offer: a MYR 100 deposit plus a MYR 188 bonus at 32x means MYR 9,216 of turnover before you can withdraw. Bonuses expire 30 days after they are issued and are “for selected members only”. Our wagering and rollover explainer works through what turnover like that costs.

Other Promotions: What the Terms Say

The small daily MYR 2–5 bonuses and the no-minimum-loss cashback this section used to describe are not in U88’s promotion list. According to U88’s published terms, its other offers include:

• 10% daily deposit bonus up to MYR 200, once a day, for Silver members and above only, at 12x turnover (6x winover on 918Kiss), claimed through live chat or WeChat. Withdrawals are capped at MYR 10,000.
• 15% slots reload up to MYR 450 at 12x, once per member, 918Kiss excluded.
• 5% weekly rescue bonus, which needs a net loss of at least MYR 10,000 between Sunday and Saturday. The cap depends on your tier, from MYR 88 for Normal members to MYR 8,888 for Diamond, at 5x turnover.
• Daily cash rebate of 0.20% to 1.00% of valid bets, depending on the game and your tier (slots pay 0.40% at Normal level). It is paid daily from MYR 1 with no maximum and no turnover, can be withdrawn once it reaches MYR 50, and excludes 918Kiss.
• 100% free first football bet up to MYR 200: a refund of a losing first football bet of at least MYR 200, at 5x turnover, not available if you have taken a welcome bonus.

VIP gifts run from a voucher or gift card at Bronze level to a Rolex at Diamond. The Rolex needs MYR 3,000,000 in total deposits and MYR 30,000,000 in turnover.

Game Selection

Slots: more than 40 providers in the lobby’s slots menu, including Pragmatic Play, JILI, Spadegaming, NextSpin, Joker, 918Kiss, Playtech, NetEnt and Habanero. U88 publishes no total game count.
Live Casino: 17 studios on the lobby’s home page, including Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Sexy Baccarat, WM Casino, SA Gaming, Dream Gaming and Playtech.
Also: sportsbook, esports, fishing, lottery and fast games. U88 publishes no minimum sports stake; the MYR 5 this review used to state appears only on u-88.my, a U88-branded site that U88’s lobby does not list as official.

Payment Methods

According to U88’s official gateway site, u88onlinecasino.com, deposits are accepted from Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, RHB and Hong Leong, by DuitNow, Touch ‘n Go, USDT, ATM and cash deposit machine, with a minimum of MYR 20–50 depending on the method; the same site also lists Boost, GrabPay and Visa/Mastercard. The paying account must be in your own name. Withdrawals are capped at MYR 50,000 per transaction and three a day. We found no minimum withdrawal on U88’s lobby or its official external sites (the MYR 30 this review used to state has no U88 source); u-88.my, a U88-branded site the lobby does not list as official, says MYR 50, and U88’s daily cash rebate can be withdrawn once it reaches MYR 50.

Who Should Choose U88?

Players who read terms first: every U88 promotion has its own published terms, most with a turnover requirement and a 30-day expiry.
Slots and 918Kiss players: the lobby lists more than 40 slot providers, and several offers have separate 918Kiss tiers.
Not for: anyone who needs a named regulator or company to complain to if a withdrawal is refused, or anyone looking for a MYR 10 entry point — U88’s own minimum is MYR 20–50.

Final Verdict

U88 publishes its rules where a player can read them: every promotion has its own terms, and its official gateway site states deposit and withdrawal limits. But the case this review used to make for it — a MYR 10 budget brand with no-minimum cashback — rested on figures U88 does not publish. And the licence question is unresolved: a PAGCOR logo with no number cannot be checked, PAGCOR could not license offshore play for Malaysians in 2026 anyway, and no company is named that a player could hold to account. Read the promotion terms before you claim anything, keep deposits small until a withdrawal has gone through, and do not treat the footer logo as protection.

Correction, 29 September 2026: earlier versions of this review stated a MYR 10 minimum deposit, a MYR 5 sports minimum, a 118% up to MYR 388 welcome bonus at 20x, daily MYR 2–5 bonuses, 5% cashback with no minimum loss, a MYR 30 minimum withdrawal, a 2021 launch and a Curaçao eGaming licence. None of these appears on U88’s lobby, its official external sites or its promotion terms; the MYR 5 sports minimum appears only on u-88.my, a U88-branded site the lobby does not list as official. They have been replaced with what U88’s own lobby, gateway site and promotion terms say.
