Match Winner (Moneyline)
Simple bet on which team wins the match. Check the format first: a best-of-three gives the stronger team more room to recover from a lost map than a single-map (best-of-one) match, so prices on the same two teams differ between formats.
Total Kills Over/Under
Predict if total kills exceed or fall below set line. Popular in MOBA games. Factor in: team playstyle, patch changes, tournament format.
Handicap Betting
Give or receive a head start in maps (or rounds) to balance the odds. A favourite at -1.5 maps must win 2-0 in a best-of-three, so its price is higher than on the straight match winner. Better odds if confident in a dominant win.
Live Esports Betting
Bet on matches in progress. Odds update based on in-game events: kills, objectives taken, gold/economy leads.

- Dota 2: Long matches create many in-play opportunities, and comebacks from large gold deficits do happen, so odds can swing sharply.
- Counter-Strike 2: Odds move round by round, and pistol rounds can shift them sharply.
- League of Legends: Early gold leads tend to snowball, so odds often move strongly after the first objectives.

Singapore Esports Betting Laws
Esports betting falls under the Gambling Control Act 2022, in force since 1 August 2022, which repealed the Remote Gambling Act 2014. The Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) states: “It is unlawful for any person to provide unlicensed remote gambling services in or from Singapore, or from outside Singapore to persons situated in Singapore. Singapore Pools (Private) Limited is the only operator licensed by GRA to provide remote gambling services.”
Players are covered too: GRA states that it is an offence for any person in Singapore to participate in unlicensed remote gambling activities; an individual convicted faces a fine of up to S$10,000, up to 6 months’ imprisonment, or both (Gambling Control Act 2022, section 20). Singapore Pools doesn’t offer esports markets, and the offshore sites that do are not licensed in Singapore. Enforcement: Since 1 January 2025 the Singapore Police Force has been responsible for blocking access to unlawful remote gambling services, their advertising and payment transactions (GRA). Age: Singapore Pools’ account betting is only for those above 21, and its game rules bar anyone under 18 from betting.
