The two offers are not the same product
A free credit (kredit percuma) offer may provide playable balance without an initial deposit. Check whether a later payment is required before withdrawal.
A deposit bonus (bonus deposit) adds conditional credit to money you deposit. Wagering rules can apply to the bonus alone or deposit plus bonus, and a cashout cap can apply too.

How we priced these offers
The calculation below compares wagering obligations. It does not estimate the probability of completing them or the amount a player will withdraw.
Fixed-turnover loss model. Fixed actual stakes × assumed house edge gives expected loss when all those stakes can be funded and the same expected return applies throughout. Other conditions still matter. BK8's offer excludes CQ9, Fa Chai, JiLi, Relax Gaming, DragoonSoft, YesGetRich and MEGA & Kiss. WE88's slots tier excludes all Mega888 games and arcade games, and its live-casino (25×) and sports (10×) tiers have different requirements. Free Credit: Wagering and Cashout Limits Both Matter
Hypothetical example: RM10 credit at 3x bonus-only wagering requires RM30 of qualifying turnover. At 30x it requires RM300. A RM50 cashout cap limits the eventual withdrawal in either case; it does not remove the wagering condition. A separate minimum withdrawal can also prevent a small remaining balance from being paid.
Two dated examples from our reviews show the withdrawal rules doing the work. On emas44.my, read 18 August 2026, Emas44 advertised RM3 of daily free credit (one of its own articles said RM2) with no turnover, but set a RM100 minimum withdrawal and a maximum of “RM50 or 5% of winnings”. The balance had to grow from RM3 to RM100 before anything could be withdrawn. On gempak99.org, read 11 August 2026, Gempak99's RM5 “event game” credit needed RM500 of turnover on two game families and RM10 in winnings before a withdrawal. A bonus also commits you to that volume of play. If you would not otherwise bet RM2,000 or RM4,000, the required play, not the headline percentage, is the real cost.
If an eligible game contributes only 10%, the second example requires RM40,000 in actual bets. In these examples, turnover means cumulative stakes, not a required extra deposit or a forecast of losses. You may lose the balance before completing it.
Declining the bonus avoids its promotional conditions, but normal withdrawal rules and identity checks still apply. - Is there a maximum cashout? Check what the cap includes and when it applies. It is a payment ceiling, not a guaranteed value.
