Types of Online Casino Bonuses Offered in Singapore.
This guide explains the main types of online casino bonus and how their terms work. Where it gives bonus figures, they come from the operators’ own terms, read on the dates shown.
Online casinos use bonuses to attract and keep players. The common types are welcome, no-deposit, deposit, free spins, cashback and reload bonuses, plus loyalty and VIP programmes.
One fact before the bonus types: no online casino is licensed in Singapore. Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) states that Singapore Pools is the only operator it licenses to provide remote gambling services, and Singapore Pools runs lotteries and sports betting, with no casino games and no welcome bonus. The online casinos offering the bonuses described below are offshore, and GRA states that it is an offence for any person in Singapore to participate in unlicensed remote gambling, with a fine of up to S$10,000, up to 6 months’ jail, or both.
The Role of Bonuses in Online Casinos
A bonus adds bonus funds or free spins to your account. It comes with conditions, usually a turnover requirement you must meet before you can withdraw.
Welcome bonuses add to a new player’s first deposit. Of the four operators on our Singapore casino ranking, Singapore Pools offers no bonus, and the welcome offers of BK8, GOD55 and GemBet all need a deposit, with turnover of 25x to 35x on their largest welcome offers (their own terms, read 30 Sep 2026).
No Deposit Bonuses
A no-deposit bonus is a sum of bonus funds credited on sign-up without a deposit. None of the operator promotions pages we could read on 28 Sep 2026 listed one for new Singapore sign-ups, and the Singapore promotions lists of BK8 and GOD55 showed none on 30 Sep 2026 (see our free credit guide), so treat any site or link advertising one with caution.
Where such offers exist, the amount, the turnover and any cap on what you can withdraw are set by each operator.
Deposit Bonuses
A deposit bonus adds bonus funds when you deposit.
A deposit match is a percentage of your deposit, subject to a maximum bonus. A 100% match doubles the starting balance only if the cap does not reduce it. Bonus balance is not necessarily withdrawable cash, and a bigger balance does not improve game odds.
Before taking a deposit bonus, examine closely the terms & conditions and the date period for this bonus, including the turnover and whether it applies to the deposit plus the bonus.
Free Spins
Free spins let you play a set number of slot spins without staking your own money. What you win from them often comes with a wagering requirement: you must bet those winnings a set number of times before you can withdraw them.
Cashback Bonuses
Cashback bonuses give players back part of their losses. Check whether the cashback carries its own turnover requirement before counting on it.
Reload Bonuses
Reload bonuses add bonus funds to later deposits, after the welcome offer.
Loyalty and VIP Programs
Loyalty and VIP programmes place players in tiers, usually according to how much they deposit or bet.
What each tier gives varies from one operator to another, so read the VIP terms rather than the headline.
Because higher tiers reward spending more, treat a VIP programme as a reason for caution, not a reason to bet more.
Compare the Conditions, Not Just the Bonus Type
| Type | What to check first |
|---|---|
| No-deposit credit | Any later deposit condition, cashout cap, minimum withdrawal and expiry |
| Welcome or reload match | Bonus cap, wagering base, eligible games and maximum bet |
| Free spins | Spin value, eligible game, expiry and wagering on winnings |
| Cashback | Loss calculation, return cap and whether it is cash or bonus credit |
| VIP rewards | Required spending and reward restrictions; do not bet more to reach a tier |
What 20x Means in Dollars
Hypothetical example, not a current offer: deposit S$100 and receive S$100 bonus credit. At 20x on the bonus alone, required turnover is S$2,000. At 20x on deposit plus bonus, it is S$4,000. If an eligible game contributes 10%, reaching that S$4,000 requirement takes S$40,000 of actual bets.
Turnover is the total staked, not an extra deposit or a prediction of losses. You can lose the balance before completing it. Check expiry, maximum bets and withdrawal caps as well; a lower multiplier alone does not establish a better offer.
Before Accepting Any Bonus
Read the complete promotion terms before accepting. If a key condition is missing, ask for it rather than assuming it does not apply. Declining a bonus avoids that promotion’s conditions, but does not remove account verification or ordinary withdrawal rules. For readers in Singapore, a bonus does not change the prohibition on gambling with an unlicensed online operator.
