Paylines and ways describe winning patterns. Wilds substitute for symbols; scatters follow their own payout or feature rules. Free spins can be a game feature or a casino promotion, with different conditions. Always read the specific game's rules.

Payline (garisan bayaran)
A payline is a pattern of reel positions on which a combination can pay. Many line games require matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left; others also pay from the right. Separate scatter or feature prizes can pay outside these lines.
Some games fix all lines; others let you select them. Where the stake is set per line, total spin cost = active lines × stake per line. If the screen already shows a total bet, do not multiply it again.
Example: 20 lines at RM0.05 per line cost RM1. At the same per-line stake, five active lines cost RM0.25. This does not prove a better RTP. Check whether changing the bet affects feature or jackpot eligibility.
NetEnt's Starburst information lists 10 lines and expanding wilds. Named game details should be checked against the version actually offered.
Ways to win (cara menang)
In a conventional left-to-right ways game, matching symbols can occupy different rows on consecutive reels. The game specifies the minimum run needed; not every three-symbol combination necessarily pays.
Illustration: five reels with three eligible positions each give 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 = 243 possible five-reel paths. If a symbol pays from three adjacent reels, matches on reels 1, 2 and 3 can qualify. Matches on 1, 2 and 4 do not complete that run.
Big Time Gaming's Megaways mechanic varies reel positions. Its Vegas Megaways page specifies six reels and up to 117,649 ways: 7⁶. Other titles can have different limits. The ways count is not the probability of winning.

Scatter and wild (simbol scatter dan wild)
A wild substitutes for the symbols listed in the paytable. It can work in line or ways games. Do not assume it replaces scatters or bonus symbols: substitution exceptions are game-specific.
A scatter can award a prize or trigger a feature without following a payline. Required counts and permitted positions still depend on the game. Expanding, sticky and multiplier wilds also need their individual rules read.
Provider examples: Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus award ordinary symbol wins from eight matching symbols anywhere. Their base-game free-spin triggers require at least four scatters. The normal paying-symbol count and the scatter count are different rules.
A claim link or a “hot hour” is not evidence of improved symbol odds. Some games offer paid modes that change feature frequency, so compare both their extra cost and published rules. Do not confuse those modes with a prediction about the next spin.
Free spins versus free credit

A feature does not automatically create a new wagering requirement, but it does not cancel an existing one either. If the qualifying spin used restricted bonus funds, feature winnings may remain restricted. Check which balance funded the spin and the offer's terms.
Hypothetical offer: RM10 credit with 30× wagering on the credit requires RM300 of qualifying turnover. A RM50 cashout cap limits the eligible withdrawal to RM50. That cap says nothing about your chance of completing the wagering.

Jackpot types (jenis jackpot)
A fixed jackpot has a prize defined by the rules, which may be a stake multiple. A progressive jackpot grows through contributions and normally resets after a win. Its pool may cover one game or a wider network; pool size alone does not reveal your odds.
Check the qualifying stake, contribution, starting amount, ceiling and trigger. Britain's progressive-jackpot standard requires clear rules and eligibility information. This does not establish that an offshore lobby complies.
Demo mode (mod demo)
A demo lets you explore controls with virtual credit that cannot be withdrawn. A short trial cannot measure long-run RTP or predict cash-game results.
Britain's free-play standard requires same-site demos to reflect cash-game rules and winning probabilities. Supplier showcases with enhanced returns must be identified. This is not proof about a Malaysia-facing demo; check the cash game's configuration separately.
Bonus-claim scams
Do not disclose your banking password, PIN, TAC or OTP to a person offering to claim a bonus. A legitimate payment flow's own authentication step is different from sending a code to an agent or entering it through an unsolicited link.

Do more paylines mean a better chance of winning?
More active patterns can qualify for line wins, but the total stake may also rise. At a fixed RM0.05 per line, 20 lines cost RM1 and five cost RM0.25. More lines alone do not establish a better RTP or jackpot chance.
