We could not verify a developer-issued RTP for the Ocean King build offered under the Mega888 name. TaDa Gaming publishes a maximum 97% for Ocean King Jackpot, but we have not established that a Mega888 installation is that product and configuration. A shared name is not enough to transfer the figure.

Which Ocean King does the figure describe?

The primary references are IGS’s product information and TaDa’s Ocean King Jackpot page. The latter breaks its maximum return into 94.5% base game, 1.2% fixed jackpot, 0.3% progressive jackpot and 1% Dark Whirlpool. This is developer information, not our measurement of Mega888. Our JILI profile provides related provider context.

Different promotional percentages do not, by themselves, prove that anyone copied a figure or that a game is rigged. They leave a verification question: which developer, version and settings does the quoted percentage cover?

How the fish-shooting format works

Promotional descriptions of Ocean King show a cannon firing at moving fish rather than spinning reels. Each paid shot spends credits; captured targets can award a multiplier of the relevant shot value. We have not verified the Mega888 build’s exact multiplayer rules, target values, special weapons or damage model.

Before spending, look for the game’s help screen: the cost of a shot, the credit-to-money conversion, how a target pays, and whether special weapons cost extra. A displayed rule is evidence of what the app claims; it does not independently authenticate its software.

A 100× target paying against a RM0.10 shot would award RM10. If you spent 120 such shots capturing it and received no other awards, the cost would be RM12 and the net result −RM2. A prize multiplier is not a profit multiplier. Our fishing-game guide explains the distinction.

What a higher cannon setting costs

If a setting changes the paid shot from RM0.10 to RM1, then 600 shots cost RM60 or RM600 respectively. That tenfold spending difference is arithmetic. It does not establish whether capture probability, special features or prize values also change: those depend on the game rules.

Do not assume that a bigger cannon improves value or that smaller fish always produce a better return. Nor have we verified claims that shared damage, a particular hour or another player’s unsuccessful shots make a target profitable.

Cabinet settings do not reveal the app’s return

Some arcade vendors advertise adjustable payout settings for fish cabinets. Those descriptions concern their hardware and are not measurements of a Mega888 build. We cannot use a vendor’s advertised range or supposed default to state the app’s house edge.

These are hypothetical examples, not tested or published Mega888 settings. Expected loss equals total stakes multiplied by the assumed house edge; a particular session can differ substantially.
