Mega888 in Malaysia
Game names do not authenticate an app
We could not authenticate a Mega888 developer, licensed entity or app build from the evidence reviewed. Promotional download pages and familiar game names do not settle those questions.

Mega888: what we verified
Mega888 is a casino-game app brand. A promoter site, mega888group1.com, calls it a games provider in Malaysia, also naming Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. It lists slots, live casino and table games, keno and fish-shooting games (read 7 October 2026).
Treat a Mega888 download, operator account and named game as three separate things to verify. A promotional site can advertise all three without showing who made the software or who owes you a withdrawal.
We checked public supplier information and regulator records. We endorse no download source and do not authenticate any casino’s game feed, app or payouts.
Corrections: we removed unsourced game-return figures, confident corporate-history statements and our old “mobile only”, “PC requires an emulator” and “APK for Android and iOS” wording.
Researched with AI tools, checked against the sources linked on this page and approved by our editor before publishing. How we work.
Mega888’s history, as its promoter tells it
These dates are the promoter’s account, not verified corporate history. We read mega888group1.com on 7 October 2026; we have not authenticated it as the developer.
It says Mega888 began in 2017 as a game software firm, began developing its own platform, the MEGA888 APK, in 2018 and added MEGAH5 in 2023. It advertises Android, iOS and Windows PC downloads, and browser play through partners’ platforms. We have not verified that any of these routes is compatible, authentic or safe.
Example titles
Four names from the game page of mega888group1.com (captured 5 and 7 October 2026), one from each of its four sections. The full sample follows the cards.
Dolphin Reef
Listed under “Slot Games”. The name alone does not identify the studio, version or return setting inside an app; see the FAQ on Dolphin Reef’s RTP.
Ocean King
Listed under “Fish Shooting”. Our Ocean King guide explains why figures published for other games called Ocean King do not verify this build.
Super Keno
Listed under “Keno Games”, described as a “lottery style number picking game”. The listing shows no paytable; read the game’s own before choosing numbers.
Live Roulette
Listed under “Online Casino Games”, though the promoter’s separate “Live Casino Games” text mentions “live roulette wheels”. Check the rules screen to see whether a live dealer runs it.
Why we show no RTP figures. The promoter’s game page mentions “unmodified MEGA888 RTP ratings”, but its linked RTP guide blocked our requests and the pages we read (5 and 7 October 2026) gave no figure. A figure from the promoter or a help screen would still be the app’s own claim. One title can have several RTP versions (our RTP and house-edge glossary cites a supplier page listing four), so another release’s figure cannot show what a Mega888 build returns.
Mega888 game list: what the names can tell you
Recorded from the promoter’s game page on 5 October 2026, unchanged on 7 October. It is not an authenticated app inventory, a full catalogue or a popularity ranking.
| Directory category | Examples listed by mega888group1.com |
|---|---|
| Slots | Cash Noire, Dolphin Reef, Fairy Garden, Fortune Panda |
| Fishing | Da Sheng Nao Hai, Fishing Star, Li Kui Pi Yu, Ocean King |
| Keno | Hot Shot Keno, Super Keno |
| Online casino | Dragon VS Tiger, Live Roulette, Sic Bo |
For game context, see our Ocean King guide and fishing-game explanation.
What to ask about a game before trusting its figures
- Who is the named developer, and what is the exact title and version?
- Where are the paytable, stake rules and RTP shown?
- Does a certificate or technical document identify this exact build?
- Who supplies support if the displayed rules conflict with the promotion?
If they cannot be matched, treat any return figure as unverified; do not borrow one from a game database. Our RTP and house-edge glossary and slot mechanics glossary explain the terms.
Licence and testing: what we could check
We have not seen a licence record or independent test certificate that identifies Mega888 or one of its app builds. Promotional logos and seals do not fill that gap.
PAGCOR (Philippines). Its notice to the public (dated October 2024, re-read 9 October 2026) warns that “certain websites are using the PAGCOR logo without permission”. It lists “mega888 / mdn88” among websites and brands it says are “not related to or endorsed by PAGCOR”.
Anti-POGO Act. The Philippines’ Republic Act 12312, approved 23 October 2025 (read 9 October 2026), banned offshore gaming and revoked PAGCOR’s power to license it. A PAGCOR badge or licence is not a Malaysian or Singapore licence either.
Curaçao (CGA). The Curaçao Gaming Authority’s online-gaming register dated 2 October 2026 (searched 9 October 2026) lists no licensee named Mega888 or mdn88. It lists companies, not brands or domains, so it cannot rule out a licensed company behind the app.
BMM Testlabs. BMM describes itself as a private independent gaming test laboratory (read 9 October 2026): it tests products but does not license them. A maxwinofficial.com review of Mega888 (captured 7 October 2026) shows an image labelled “BMM Testlabs certification seal” in its footer. We have seen no BMM certificate identifying a Mega888 game or app build.
What this means for you
Whoever takes your deposit decides whether you get paid. We have not established who that is for a Mega888 app: see who receives the money below.
Identify who receives the money
Do not assume the software developer, promoter, agent and casino operator are one business. Nor have we established that Mega888 never handles accounts or cashier services; the arrangement needs evidence.
Find the company named in the account terms, the payee, the withdrawal conditions and the complaint route; the Mega888 beginner’s guide explains how. Our Malaysia operator comparison and warning directory cover operators, not particular apps.
APK means Android, not iOS
An APK is an Android app package, not an iPhone installation format. iOS links on promotional pages do not show that an app is authentic or approved by Apple.
Google’s Play Protect guidance explains its checks for harmful apps; keep device protections on. If a site or agent asks you to allow “Install unknown apps”, ignore a security warning or install an unknown profile, stop.
We have not verified an official download, current file signature, supported operating system or installed build, so this guide has no download button. A “test ID” or working demo does not prove them.
Malaysian legal context
An overseas supplier licence or game approval does not authorise online casino play in Malaysia. The Common Gaming Houses Act 1953 is part of the legal framework; a familiar game logo is not a legal exemption. Read our Malaysia gambling-law guide before treating offshore access as permission to play.
Singapore legal context
Mega888 is not licensed in Singapore. Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority states that Singapore Pools is the only operator it licenses to provide remote gambling services, and that it is an offence for any person in Singapore to participate in unlicensed remote gambling (fine up to S$10,000, up to 6 months’ jail, or both). Our Singapore gambling-law guide covers the Gambling Control Act 2022.

If something goes wrong
If you suspect fraud, call your bank and the NSRC on 997 immediately, then lodge a police report anyway. Calling 997 does not replace it. Report older incidents too; recovery is not guaranteed. Keep the site address, receipts and account messages. See the NSRC guidance published by Hong Leong Bank.

Frequently asked questions
No. We did not authenticate a developer-controlled download, file signature or installed build. A promotional site using the brand name does not establish them.
An APK is an Android app package, not an iOS installation format. iOS marketing links do not show that an app is authentic or approved by Apple.
We cannot support that claim. The promotional site advertises Android, iOS, Windows PC and browser access; we have not authenticated those products or checked compatibility.
Not unless the developer, title and version match the actual build. A shared name or artwork does not mean identical rules, source code or return settings.
No. It may show an interface works, but does not verify the developer, download source, licensed operator or payment service.
The company responsible under the account terms and payment arrangement. We have not established that the software brand, promoter and operator are the same entity.
No. Singapore Pools is the only operator licensed there for online gambling. Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority says it is an offence for anyone in Singapore to take part in unlicensed remote gambling (fine up to S$10,000, up to 6 months’ jail, or both).
We found no evidence that it does. PAGCOR’s notice to the public (dated October 2024, re-read 9 October 2026) lists “mega888 / mdn88” among brands it says are not related to or endorsed by PAGCOR. Republic Act 12312 also revoked its power to license offshore gaming.
